The winner earning themselves a place as a judge at a round of the heats (see poster) for the final event at the Clubhouse in February 2011( more news to follow), with the final @ St David's hall Cardiff.

The event is sponsored by Gwatkin cider whom the foodies amongst you may remembered were featured in last summer's BBC visit by James May and Oz Clark, where they the sampled some perry, a different perry and then another perry and so on until they made less sense than they normally do! You be pleased to know that some of GWATKIN'S excellent award winning cider will be on sale for you to pass across your discerning palates.

Not only that, Brian is the man behind the now world famous annual 'Elvis Impersonator' event at Porthcawl as well as the recent World Elvis Impersonator held in Cardiff and the fabulously successful 'Father Ted' conventions that have taken Ireland ( and the UK ) by storm! That's without mentinoing his radio shows in wales, Dubai and Singapore and the Far East.

So what a night in store, be there early to enter the quiz for a 7:30 prompt start or just come along sample some cider and listen to a master broadcaster and comedy writer at work -see you there!
